The Secret to Consistency with my clients and Predictable Growth Revenue

I just got off a call and it was actually an accountability pod call with some of my clients in my academy. They were sharing some of the things that they’re working on next. I began to think about some of the growth I’ve seen, some are consistent growth across the pattern. I’m saying “pattern” because sometimes it has to be a pattern for you to notice what is the system in the process. 

Now, on a scale of 1-10. Tell me, are you being consistent with your business? Everything’s running smoothly? I want you to keep it REAL. It’s okay if you’re not consistent, not everything’s going according to your plan and this is a very common pattern I noticed as a coach of CEOs. Not having strength, consistent progress, and growth for their business is one of the common struggles as a business owner.

And thanks for keeping it real! To be honest, being consistent is one of the things that is super challenging. Especially for moms, busy moms, and moms that have special needs children. This is also applicable for professionals out there who are trying to juggle everything!

When we’re trying to juggle everything, one of the balls are always dropping. And when it happens, it makes it harder for us to have that consistency in our life and in our business. (Real recognizes real, right?)

If you’ve been following me for months, either on facebook or instagram, emails, blogs, You know that I am consistent. 

You know that you’ll see something from me almost every single day. You’ll see me showing up in my business or just sharing my life. And if you want to see the books I published, you’ll see the backend of my system. The growth and revenue on my business are consistent as well as my client’s business too. 

Some of the things we notice are the biggest & most common challenge: it is when things happen that derail us. Those Unpredictable moments.

When something unpredictable happens, a lot of us tend to fall by the wayside and we have to be okay with that, sis! We got to be okay with the fact that everything can’t be 100% okay. 

So here’s the number one secret for consistency… Are you ready?? Ready for consistent revenue & growth?

This is something I had to find out. It was a hard lesson for me to find out. The number one lesson is making sure that I celebrate my baby wins. (And y’all expecting something gigantic, right? lol) BUT baby wins matter! It matters because sometimes we forget to celebrate the little steps, the little things we get to accomplish. The little course that we’ve made between where we were a few years ago compared to where we are now. You should always break it down from work -to family – to business. Remember, there’s no such thing as balance. What’s important is you make it work!

I gave up balance a long time ago when my coach, Lisa Nichols, said “There’s no such thing as balance but there’s something we call harmony.” – that clears up everything.

I stopped trying to get the same amount of time spent with my family, work, and business because it’s not true. What I focused on is having the concentrated effort to make sure that you’re touching in the specific areas that are super important to you and to your future. 

In case you didn’t know, I’m a legacy-driven coach and I speak a lot of pop-up shops BUT I also believe in taking time. 

I don’t believe that we need to do everything in a rush but I do believe that we should take the time to instil one step at a time to avoid being overwhelmed.

We’ll feel overwhelmed when we keep on trying to do so much that we can do in a day. My son, Zachary, is my best teacher. He’s the one that has helped me to slow things down and to create consistent steps. Meaning: I’m going to take a step today and maybe another step tomorrow. But by the next 2 or 3 days, there’ll be another step. Some days, when we have the energy and momentum then we can take a few steps on those days. 

But we should always be okay on those days when we’re not floating high or on the days that a lot is going on. We should know our body and know when we are operating in higher vibrations and when we are not. If we’re not, those are not the times to focus on those specific things.

How to prepare your business for Summer Ready-ness

Let’s talk about Summer Readiness, how we can get our life and business prepared for success even during summer. I’m super excited about this because I still think we have time, right? Many of us are feeling like we’re running out of time, like  “Oh my God, it’s summer already” and I still think that we can set up our business for success. 

If you haven’t started already then you need to jump on the bandwagon now, you need to understand that all successful businesses are prepared for summer. Each business looks different during each season and we need to start getting really fine-tuned to what our business looks like during different seasons. Some of the things we need to understand are: What our ideal audience are doing during summer? 

How can we still attract, appeal, and connect to them? 

Eventually, how can we convert leads to be our clients even during summer time?

Now, let me know in the comments below “Is summer a high-peak time? Or is it a low-peak time for your business?” And I do believe that it’s super important to understand.

For my audience, which are mostly moms and moms (like me) are usually super busy in the summer because we have to do more things with our kids. We’re usually planning vacations or going on vacations, and our open-times are “very” very limited. I feel like our times are always limited BUT more so in the summer! 

So, the idea is that I will put together/produce something that will incorporate and include for doing things with your kids. (And/or doing things in the nighttime after the kids are down, right?) It’ll include short bursts because I do understand some of us will be going out of town for certain weeks, but it’s not going to be the entire summer that we’re going to shut the business down. We can’t shut the business down for the whole summer and if you are? Let me know in the comments. Then, some of us are actually going to launch something during the summer. So if you’re going to launch something during the summer, what are you going to launch? And how could we get ahead so that you could have a successful launch? 

Now, please remember launches are not literally putting things out and “Okay, I produced the book. Here’s the book” – It’s not like that. There’s a whole process behind having a successful launch. I showed you a lot of that when I did Zachary’s book launch, when I did my podcast launch, and for those who have been around: most recently is when I’ve done my retreat’s launches, it talks about how it takes a lot of time and the process behind it. 

So what I wanted to do this summer is actually create like a launch camp, where we can kind of launch together. Especially understanding the process and knowing that when we launch together,  we have better success because we are able to promote each other, support each other, and go through challenges together. 

We’ve done it before and I’ve wanted to open it up! So that if you want to join us in the Academy, (For those in the Academy, we’re going to start it after the July 4th week.) If you know you want to launch something or some things throughout the year then JUMP IN! 

So we can launch some of the things together. We’ll do it once, we’ll probably do it on the second time for Black Friday. Get ready for Black Friday so we can do it a second time during Q4 – for those who choose to continue to try and redo it. Because the more you launch together the more success you get together, right? The more we launch together, the more success we get to have together. I’m super excited because it was a last-minute idea. Meaning, that I didn’t know it was delivered and I’m trying to be receptive to the mood of it and make sure that I’ve provided for those out there who needed it. I know for me, I know for my other CEO sisters when we got together over the weekend that one of the things we spoke about was “We love when we launch together.”

One of the things my clients ended up telling me this week was ” They like it when we launch together”. So I was like “Okay, God, I hear you loud and clear apparently we’re going to be launching together”. So let’s spend some time and launch together over the summer, those who are already in the Launch Your Own Brand Academy or Elite Mastermind, we’re going to start setting it up.

All I want you to know is that this summer is about still being active! Summer is still about creating a plan. It’s still about showing up. Most of all? Summer is tweaking your readiness. As we highlight it in our office and we’re doing it as a team, I want to make sure that I’m including you guys so that I’m not growing alone. I want you to understand success leads tip, success leads clues, and we need to follow what is successful and tweak it to what works for our people and our audience, does that make sense?

Mindset is such a powerful thing, and I encourage you to tap into yours.

Your mind made you who you are today.

Shifting your mindset gives you the tools to identify and change habits, attitudes, expectations and core beliefs that hold you back.

It’s recalibrating your compass. It takes you from thinking differently about yourself to actually believing in yourself. Because thinking differently about yourself won’t change you permanently. Believing differently will!

So start with the mind. Start with the mentee. 

For the next seven days, you write down your first three thoughts in the morning. Start noticing and observing what are your first three thoughts in the morning that shapes your day? Write it down, don’t change them. Just get up in the morning and think what are your first three thoughts. Also, get clear on what are your three last thoughts in the night. 

I live in New York so I’m always going to hear stuff around me, and I’ve learned to totally ignore that. I learned to stop thinking about the negative, to start thinking that something good is going to happen out of this. 

Let’s start doing the action work. Let’s start doing the things that shift in the results. 

You want to see maximum results in your Personal Life? You want to see maximum results with your children and/or in your business? Then everything first starts with YOU. 

Don’t think of everyone else, stop blaming everyone else. Start taking full control over the one thing that you have full control of. Take that finger, turn it around and point it directly at yourself. Get to work, write down the things as soon as you wake up in the morning, and before you go to bed at night, what are those three thoughts that you’re thinking about? Once you start looking at them at the end of the week, then you’ll start to see where you need to start shifting. How can you intentionally shift some of those thoughts throughout the day? In my experience as a business owner, one thing I’ve noticed is a common pattern in excuses as to why people can’t do things. One of the most common is they can’t find time to work on their businesses.

The question then becomes, how do we do it? How do we find time to grow our businesses and keep moving forward? What are some of the ways you find time?

I always get asked this question “Dr. Ali, how do you find the time?” I have four profit businesses, a Business Coach. I have a non-profit business as a co-founder of Smart Fit Fam, and I’m also an #autismmom, Author of Professional Audiologist and Speech Therapy Pathologist. And the list goes on.

I feel that most moms, we wear most of our hats in many ways. So I just learned how to create more harmony in my life to really allocate the time towards what we really feel good and to what’s important to me. 

And as a business owner, I make sure to take care of the top priorities first. The things that bring revenue-generating space wherein my business will continue to flow, so I operate in CEO mode! But I also make sure to be a human in the process. Now, it doesn’t have to be the same amount of time, but it does have to be in allocated energy towards being present when you are doing that time. Being aware of the things that must be done to be successful is clear, having a plan is clear. But most importantly, for me, to manage it all is to have a clear flow.

It’s important to take the time to get your business values together so you can build your business successfully!

First: Be Authentic, we need to be authentic in everything we do. If you’re going to have a business people connect to and relate with your authentic self

Second: Being Resilient. In business there are going to be things that throws you off, comes in and challenge you and most likely will make you fall. A resilient person will learn how to get back up, bounce through and pivot when those moments pass through, being resilient is what still has me in the game.

Lastly: Being trustworthy. You want to have that space so that people will come in and speak to you, they can feel they can honor you, they can have a relationship with you, connect with you, that they can trust you. When people can trust you, they can invest in you. So take a time-out to provide that space where you can create a trustworthy relationship.
